Frequently, when dealing with files from clients, colleagues, or even my own creations (especially when using Canva), I encounter documents that feature spaces and uppercase letters in their names, making them less than ideal for creating neat and user-friendly URLs. Perhaps I’m a bit old-school in my approach, stuck in the days of strict, but clean and uncluttered web addresses. If you share my disdain for encoded spaces in URLs, fear not! I’ve got a handy solution for macOS users that will spare you from this headache. Hat tip to Jason Cooper for the tutorial that enabled me to create this little efficiency.
